Tips: How to cleanse your home of evil spirits

Items to get:

Rough salt, pickle masala or dry crushed chillies, Jeyes Fluid, lobaan cones in red box (raaz A1 special), available at any spice shop.

Preparation for cleansing (house and yard):

In a bucket, mix rough salt and Jeyes Fluid with normal tap water.

Use your own discretion when putting the mixture together, it will depend on the size of the yard and house. Mop the floors in the house. Sprinkle around the yard. You can use a watering can.

House:

Close all external doors and windows; leave internal doors open.

Take lobaan cones, light around the corners of cones, put the pickle masala or crushed chillies in the cones.

Use lobaan cones at own discretion, depending on the size of the house.

Place in different parts in the house.

If you have a trap door, open the trap door and “lobaan it” as well.

Throw rough salt and dry chillies inside trap door then close trap door.

Once cones are burnt, sprinkle ashes in the garden.

Do this process for seven consecutive days and then do it once a week.
