TICKETS for the POST/ Shoprite Heritage Day Fun Walk are available through Computicket. You can either go online or visit one of the Computicket branches at the Money Market counters at all Checkers and Shoprite stores. To register online you will need to access the site and click on ‘Sport’. Then click on ‘More Sport’ and scroll down until you find the icon that advertises the Heritage Day Walk. Click on the icon and follow the prompts. This will take you to the options of 5km or 10 km. Select whichever walk you want to participate in. If you wish to purchase more than one ticket then drop your first purchase into the ‘basket’ and proceed with other bookings. Once you are finished you will need to print the ticket. If you do not have a printer you can record the booking number, present it to a Computicket outlet and request a printout. Or simply visit the Money Market counter at a Checkers or Shoprite store near you. Tickets will also be available at Independent Media’s marketing department. You can contact POST marketing executive Tashni Brijmohan on 031 308 2557 or call at 18 Osborne Road, Greyville, to purchase them. NB: The purchase of the ticket ensures that you are one of the 5 000 entrants who will receive a “goody bag”. You will then need to collect your goodie bag and register for the walk. Present your ticket at the Blue Lagoon Conference Centre (below Coconut Grove - see picture above) on Sunday, September 20 between 12 and 5pm; September 21/22 between 4 and 6pm.
