Sunny shines spotlight on fitness

-

AFTER moving from the porn industry to Bollywood, sensual star Sunny Leone, pictured, who has stepped into a healthy lifestyle with the launch of her workout DVD, says Priyanka Chopra and Hrithik Roshan have the best bodies in the Indian film industry.

“Priyanka has a very wellshaped body. I wish I had a body like her,” said Sunny, looking hot in a blue one-sleeved ensemble at the launch of Super-Hot Sunny Mornings last week.

Among male stars, Hrithik Roshan had the most perfectly sculpted body, she said.

“We live in a world where most actors and actresses want to be fit, want to look good on the camera, and that requires working out.”

Her DVD features the actress doing a number of workout sessions – mostly basic ones without any gym equipment – designed to help get a healthy and toned body. But she said that those workouts were the toughest ones.

Asked about controversies, including Rakhi Sawant’s call for her to be banned from India due to a politician’s statement ACTOR Sooraj Pancholi, pictured, who made his big Bollywood debut with Hero, now wants to do purely romantic films instead of action ones. And he’d love to have Alia Bhatt or Deepika Padukone as his on-screen love interest.

“I want to do a purely romantic film in which I don’t have to do any action. Dance is okay, but I don’t want this bodybuilding and action,” said Sooraj.

Asked which actresses he wanted to romance on screen, Sooraj said: “Only two actresses, Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone.”

Sooraj and his Hero co-star Athiya were recently present at Subhash Ghai’s film institute to interact with the acting students.

“I am happy right now, as you can see. When people say mean things about you, punch you, and push you and if you fall down, you have to get up and come back with a smile on your face.”

She looked happier talking about her forthcoming sex comedy, Mastizaade.

Apart from Sunny in a dual part, the film stars Tushar Kapoor and Vir Das in lead roles with Shaad Randhawa, Suresh Menon and Vivek Vaswani in supporting roles, while Ritesh Deshmukh will appear in a cameo.

“It took just five minutes of narration to convince Trisha to do the film. I wasn’t sure when she said ‘yes’ the first time, so I even asked her again to confirm it. She felt the script had the potential to be a hit and even be liked by critics,” Govi told IANS.

The film’s story is set in 1980s and Trisha will be seen as a 20year-old woman.

For the first time in her career, Trisha plays a role in two languages. Also starring Ganesh Venkatraman and Arya Rajesh, the film is simultaneously being shot in Tamil as Nayagi.
