POST viewed the grainy CCTV footage of the brawl at a service station in Clayfied, Phoenix.

It happened at around 12.30am on Saturday and showed a Toyota Yaris parked between two petrol bowsers.

Angelo Perumal drives into the garage in a black Opel Corsa bakkie, facing the other car.

In order for the bowser nozzle to reach his fuel tank, located on the driver’s side, he drives close to the Yaris’ fender.

The driver of the other car is seen flashing his driving beams.

Perumal’s friend, Corban Govender, exits the passenger seat and walks off.

He returns and Perumal gets out of the Corsa and approaches the Yaris.

It cannot be seen if he has a gas gun or if the other driver exits his car, as the bowser blocks the view.

People are seen walking to the station forecourt from the nearby car wash.

Perumal returns to his bakkie and then goes back to the scene, where a brawl breaks out.

A few m oments later Perumal stumbles, heads for his vehicle and gets in, with Govender in the passenger seat. Govender then gets out. He appears to struggle to push his friend into the passenger side.

He drives off and the group disperses.

The owners of the service station declined to comment.
