If anyone can... is Baxter the man?

Man City, Man United and Arsenal all in with a shot.

After watching United’s loss at the Emirates on Sunday, it appears Jose Mourinho’s focus is on winning the Europa League – they really didn’t look bothered by the Arsenal game.

It was a massive result for Arsenal in yet another disappointing season with only the FA Cup to look forward to, potentially finishing outside the top four and uncertainty over the future of star players Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil while Arsene Wenger is yet to confirm his future plans.

Never a dull moment in football.

THE Spanish MotoGP was the first race thus far this season that I can honestly say failed to live up to expectation and could even be classified as a bit of a bore.

Dani Pedrosa led from start to finish; track conditions were tricky for most as they tried to conserve the wear on their tyres, resulting in fewer wheel-to-wheel battles than we’ve become accustomed to.

It was a one-two for Honda and Jorge Lorenzo fans will probably be delighted that he picked up his first podium of the season in Ducati colours, while it was a disappointing afternoon for the Yamahas with Maverick Vinales passing the checkered flag in sixth and his teammate Valentino Rossi in tenth.

The only good news was that Rossi, chasing his 10th world title, maintains the championship lead, just two points ahead of Vinales with Marquez four points adrift. Le Mans is up next on the calendar on the weekend of the 21st.
