Cash drop off ends in robbery

A TRIP to drop off R3 500 in lottery money at his aunt’s home turned into a nightmare for an Orient Park man who said he was robbed.

Vinesh Ramlucken, 30, said two robbers accosted him as he parked outside his aunt’s home about a kilometre away from his.

Ramlucken said he was dragged out of his car, a Toyota RunX, which was taken by the hijackers.

“There was half a tank of fuel still in the car as well as the lottery money. I did have a tracker but unfortunately it did not pick up the vehicle.”
