BABY X MOTHER JAILED FOR 20 YEARS:

Lucille Kistiah: Only 20? She can still come out and live a life… and that poor baby.

Sarisha Bhugwandass: What is wrong with the law? Last week Pravin Kubair got 25 years for brutally strangling his son and now this psycho gets 20. What is wrong?

Karmen Govender: 20 years. Come on now. This evil person should get life in prison.

Vanash Pillai: Nothing is going to bring this child back. It’s so sad.

Sandhya Ramlugan Dawood: Not good enough.

Jayshree Kavitha Govender: What’s the use of the 20 years? It was okay to murder her baby and now sit in jail. That’s just a hotel for her. I honestly hope she suffers… in those 20 years.

CITY TO LAUNCH STATE-OF-THEART RICKSHA BUSES IN DURBAN:

Shenaz Abdul Wahab: Tried to get tickets for the Ricksha bus a few years ago and was unsuccessful. Why can’t they have the hop-on-hop-off like Jozi and CPT or the Big Bus?

Iqbal Essack:… The Ricksha

Bus is not a fancy attraction. It has been around for years. If you read the story, it is about improved buses. Here’s hoping that locals are given preference when it comes to bookings for trips. I read a review on Trip Advisor where a family from Gauteng went to the Tourism Office to buy tickets for the Ricksha Bus. Apparently, they do the tours twice daily. They were turned away at the window, with the excuse that the bus was not running on that day. However, they were disappointed to see the bus move with tourists a while later. In Cape Town, with the hop-on-hopoff bus, locals are not discouraged from going on tours in their own city. Please advise the staff at the Tourism Office accordingly.

Marklein Pillay: They need to invest in proper security for the tourists before luring them into the city with the fancy attractions etc… #justmyopinion

Thiru Pather: Our city has other important issues. Sort that out first instead of spending on this bus. Giving us recycling bags is one of them.

COMMISSION FINDS THAT THERE WAS A DEMAND FOR SEXUAL FAVOURS AT THE SABC:

Nadisha Pillay: I also find that as a fundamental issue these days, pity people get paid off to cover for the oppressors. Shameful is that 99% of the oppressors are people the victim knows.

Most articulate criminal-minded sexual offenders generally portray a friendly image with the victim’s family thus ensuring power over the victim by means of strategic mind games and sexual innuendo. This ensures the victim is never in control of speaking up. I suggest a protection order, then remove the victim from the clutches of being penalised at home. It renders the victim powerless. Hopefully the media are able to assist positively in uplifting victims without segregating them from the outside world.

DURBAN DOCTOR DENIES TOUCHING HIS PATIENT INAPPROPRIATELY:

Shay Gounden: Really now! Checking breasts for pregnancy? Surely one will start asking question like, when was the last menstruation and other symptoms that go with pregnancy. Sore throat to breasts?

Kubeshniee Govender: Crazy

LITTLE GUJARAT OWNERS WALK FREE:

Cameron Mark Naicker: Money talks. Vegetables sell.

Mervin Govender: Travesty of justice. RSA legal system stinks, so does UKZN medical entries.

Asad Nazire: Thats why SA doctors (are) doing very well. Shame!

INDICTMENTS SERVED IN #SADIASUKHRAJ MURDER CASE:

Sushie Govender: The truth must prevail.

Kasturi Naidoo: This is going to be interesting!

Amelia Anandham: Does it matter whose bullet it was? This poor baby lost her life because of the hijacking. Give the family some time to heal.

KIDESH RAMJETTAN’S FAMILY ROBBED DURING DIWALI CELEBRATIONS:

Carrington Naidoo: I wonder if the same person/s, who hired the hitman are behind this.

Charmaine Khanayia: So terrible!
