Celebrations for couple
Dance Dance, PRIYANKA Chopra and Nick Jonas became the most trending entertainment couple when they married at the Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur.
While the celebrations leading up to the ceremony were full of tradition, colour and energy, Chopra and Jonas were seen enjoying the festivities.
The couple were married in a Christian ceremony on Saturday, followed by a traditional Hindu ceremony a day later.
Adding to the joyous celebrations the respective families were seen playing a friendly cricket match.
Dubbed the wedding of the year, the couple were joined by their respective families and were dressed by designer Ralph Lauren.
Chopra also made big news a few days ago when rumours began to surface that she bagged a new project by the brilliant Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
According to insiders, Chopra will play Gangubai Kothewali, the powerful pimp who controlled the red-light districts of Mumbai.
Known for taking risky subjects like Fashion and Saat Khoon Maaf with great success, Chopra and Bhansali have worked together in movies like Bajirao Mastani and Mary Kom.
Despite the lukewarm response to Race 3, choreographer-turned-film-maker Remo D’Souza is back to doing what he does best – making dance flicks.
For his next movie titled Dance Dance, he has secured a casting coup of bringing together Varun Dhawan and Katrina Kaif.
Another leading lady is to be confirmed for the project. Kaif will next be seen alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma in the big December release Zero.
Ayushmann Khurrana has become scorching hot property in Bollywood.
After blockbuster successes recently with Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho, Khurrana is set to team up for the third time with Bhumi Pednekar.
The duo have worked together previously in the award-winning Dum Laga Ke Haisha and last year’s surprise hit Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.
