- DID SOMEONE IN SA SHIP R1.4BN WORTH OF COCAINE TO AUSTRALIA?

CHARGES WITHDRAWN AGAINST BOOYSEN, CATO MANOR ‘DEATH SQUAD’ MEMBERS:

● Raeesa Bux: They must get back to do what they did best. They were dedicated to their jobs.

● Aniel Poolaraj: They must sue the state for millions.

● Chantal Govender: Seven years of waste of state resources.

● Ajith Ramgoon: Some of these men have died, retired, resigned, or moved on. How do they get compensated? Should it be tax payers who fork out the cash, assuming they sue for compensation, or should the guilty parties be sued and sequestrated?

● Keshnee Pillay: In 7 years the crooks would have been behind bars. But no . . .

● Gujen Naidoo: About time.

TRIO IN COURT FOR TEEN’S BRUTAL MURDER AT BLUFF TATTOO PARLOUR:

● Naadira Moola: The two friends are eyewitnesses, as they are survivors of this brutal attack. This is an open and shut case . . . A life is worth more than a cellphone.

● Shauba Jangbadur: This is so sad. How could they be so cruel to someone else’s child? It’s the surviving parents who suffer the most. These monsters deserve the harshest punishment.

● Dhayalan Moodley: As usual, it takes years before the case comes to court. Something has to be done for quicker sentences.

● Divian Avendren Munien: Grown men fighting with weaker teenagers… pathetic!

MISSING CHATSWORTH NURSE’S SON ACCUSED OF SWINDLING RELATIVES OUT OF R400 000:

● Saiyesh Prean Barratt: Honestly I’m done with South Africa and Durban. I want out of this place! It’s a scary place to be in and our Indian people are really disgracing us.

● Nirupa Alam: I see I’m not the only one who thinks our Indians are such a disgraceful lot. More than any other race, it’s our Indians who are always doing such things.

● Lorraine Alagasen: 100% on point. You don’t find other race groups looking and searching for people, disposing of children, fighting and degrading themselves.

POLICE SEIZE R12M IN HEROIN, COCAINE AND MANDRAX FROM PHOENIX DRUG DEN:

● Eléisha Naidoo: (I have a) Strange feeling that it will get “lost in transit” and end up right back at the den. I recall reading a post where drugs from a previous drug bust went missing from Phoenix SAPS station. Let’s wait n see.

● Indrani Naidoo: I suggest they take all the necessary pictures, tests, etc, and then dispose of it in a safe manner before that also gets stolen from the police station.

● Kuben Samie: And then the evidence will miraculously disappear and the docket will get lost.

● Nalini Gokul: First the R1.4 billion worth of cocaine hidden in the excavator and now this. A glorious week it has been.

● Mervin Govender: Will get bail and do the same crap but the families will suffer a lifetime of misery.

● Ronel Naidoo: Easy. Do a full inspection on all containers on that vessel and match the customs declarations to the actual cargo. Find out which agent “misdeclared”.

● Meashack Govender: Somebody got paid on this side to clear this. Hope you get caught. Millions of lives fall to the wayside for drugs and countless parents’ tears fall to the ground.

● Joezette Snyman: If they watched Border Security they would know you can never get away with this.

EVEREST HEIGHTS RESIDENTS FRUSTRATED BY WATER CUTS:

● Meena Sinha Sookdaw: Umdhloti Heights, Mission Road every day water shuts down. It’s an ongoing thing. Despite reporting it to the municipality daily, they log the fault but nothing is being done to restore the water.

● Morisha Harrilal: It’s been going on for just over a month now. The eThekwini Municipality just responds with “we have a team on site”.
