Big Bollywood names are already making moves
SHAHID Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan have every reason to smile.
Both their recent releases have struck gold at the box office. While Kapoor’s Kabir
Singh has been declared the biggest hit of the year to date, the movie has also crept on to the list of the biggest Bollywood money earners. Roshan is also enjoying a great phase with the success of Super 30.
This prompted the makers of his next release, War, to spruce up their marketing and public relations campaign for this action-thriller, in which he is pitted against Tiger Shroff.
● Kiara Advani in the lead
ALSO enjoying a great phase after Kabir
Singh is leading lady Kiara Advani. The talented actress has been signed to feature opposite Student of the Year 2 star Aditya Seal, for the movie Indoo Ki Jawani.
The coming-of-age tale will mark the Bollywood debut of Bengali film-maker Abir Sengupta.
● Salman Khan’s early festive gift for fans
AFTER the blockbuster Bharat, Salman Khan fans can look forward to him returning to the iconic role of Chulbul Pandey this December for Dabangg 3.
While Sonakshi Sinha returns as his leading lady, the film also marks the debut of film-maker Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter Saiee. She will play Khan’s younger love interest.
Prabhudeva will direct the action-entertainer.
● Something old, something new
HERE is a remake we are excited about. Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan will soon start shooting for the remake of Coolie
No 1, a blockbuster that featured Govinda and Karishma Kapoor in the original film. Dhawan’s dad, Dhavid, who directed the original, will also direct the remake.
Paresh Rawal and Johnny Lever form part of the cast.
