Win a trip to Mauritius festival

IN A run-up to Diwali, the island of Mauritius will host a Bollywood concert next month, and one POST

reader and a partner can win an allexpense­s-paid trip, valued at R75 000, to attend.

The Zee Media Diwali in Mauritius festival, from October 19 to 20, at the Vacoas Market in Quatre Bonne, will feature four concerts with more than 60 artists from B-Town.

Among the singers are Abhijeet Bhattachar­ya, Guru Randhawa and Akasa Singh.

Bhattachar­ya is ranked among the best Hindi playback singers.

He recorded over 6 000 songs, which featured in more than 1 000 films.

Randhawa – a singer-songwriter and music composer – is best known for his songs Lahore, Patola, High Rated Gabru and Daaru Wargi, and in April this year, he collaborat­ed with Pitbull on Slowly Slowly.

The song’s music video garnered 38 million views on YouTube within 24 hours – becoming one of the world’s all-time most-viewed music videos in 24 hours.

from the 2016 Bollywood movie, Sanam Teri Kasam.

The other performers include Tanmay Chaturvedi of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa fame; Sugandha Date, the 2019 winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs;

and Sanket Gaonkar and Nainika Anasuri, of Dance India Dance.

Local Mauritian artists are also set to perform.

The concerts will be hosted by Zain Imam of ZEE TV serial TashanE-Ishq fame and co-hosted by Miss India Interconti­nental 2018, Suman Chelani.
