Nayanthara finds true love

FOLLOWING the box-office success of Suriya’s movie Kaappaan in South Africa, two more movies by big artists are lined up for release.

The first is Asuran, that stars Dhanush, and the second, Bigil, has

Vijay playing the lead.

Asuran, an action-thriller, is directed by Vetrimaara­n and will feature Malayalam actress Manju Warrior. It will release on October 4.

Bigil, directed by Atlee, will release during Deepavali. Nayanthara plays the female lead. It has music by Oscar winner AR Rahman.

Nayanthara finds true love:

The actress has every reason to smile after her break-up with Prabhu Deva.

She is dating director Vignesh Shivan, who celebrated his 34th birthday last month.

Friends, who were invited to the party, said the couple announced they would tie the knot in December.

Director bags a biggie:

Director Pradeep Ranganatha­n won critical-acclaim for his debut movie, Comali, starring Jayam Ravi.

The film is about a man who awakens after being in a coma for 16 years. The movie’s success has led to Ranganatha­n bagging another role with ace actor Vikram.

Karthi clashes with Vijay and Rajinikant­h

Karthi will team up with Dhrishyam director Jeethu Joseph for his next untitled family thriller.

The actor will star with his reallife sister-in-law, Jyothika, who will pay his sister. It is slated for a Pongal release.

Kollywood mourns the loss of actor

Telegu comedian Venu Madhav, 39, died last week due to organ failure.

He debuted in the 1996 movie, Sampradaya­m, and has featured in close to 400 movies. He is survived by his wife and two children.
