‘I’m up for any challenge’

-

THE POST approached Sagren Madhevan Moodley for comment. He did not respond.

Moodley, however, released the following statement on his Facebook page.

“Well here’s an update on my haters. For the first time in my life an arrest warrant has been issued for me … for an apparent breach of a harassment protection order.

“Yep you heard right … After enduring months of harassment … I’m the one being charged. I will present myself to the PMB police to be officially charged. I’m up for that … It’s the process and I respect it. However, in the weeks to come the harrassment order will be overturned and the criminal charge will be dropped for the simple reason …

“That it’s frivolous, without substance and that I'm innocent of all trumped-up charges. #fact.

“And once that’s sorted … then I start my lawsuits and criminal action. The complainant, who is a confirmed cyberbully and harrasser, will then find himself on trial for lying under oath and misleading the court. The judiciary will need to answer as well for their role in this.

“The public needs more protection from cyberbulliess.

“My life is interesting to say the least … but I know with your support I’m up for any challenge … and that good shall always triumph.

“As I start to share this journey with you I’d like to state that this relentless attack on me is politically motivated …

“And only because I stood up for the rights of Indian people. #PBTP. I don’t regret my stance. But now it’s time to see if the people I stood up for will stand with me.”
