Prayer is the answer

-

IN A crisis like we are in, we cannot look at our own church denominations, our religious and our academic differences for answers.

We have a universal crisis, a Covid19 pandemic, and our message should not be Christian but we should look for a universal answer.

Today tent evangelism and missionaries are irrelevant due to the restrictions. Millions of Christians don't have the luxury of Zoom or Facebook, etc, so they don't hear a message of hope.

We still see churches calling for prayer meetings in clicks. Even Hindus and Muslims are praying separately. But God is a God of the nations. Many Christians want to be caught up in the clouds in heaven but not be united on Earth.

We are waiting for the second coming of Jesus on Earth but do we have him in our hearts first? If we can't agree on Earth how are we going to agree in heaven? Our battle is spiritual, not physical. We need to be careful which spirit we are listening to.

Every physical decision we make on Earth has a spiritual consequence. What we do in the flesh must be as it is in heaven.

Human decisions are not made in a vacuum. Heaven informs the Earth. Even the disciples living through the Old Testament period, when they met Jesus, they asked him to teach them to pray. This is how He started "Our Father" – not a Christian, Hindu, or Muslim father but a father of all.

When you have a roof view, you see in a certain way. But when you have an aeroplane view, you see the Earth is very small. We don't see race, religion, or culture. We have a common ancestry, a common father.

When we come to an understanding of who God is when we pray with understanding then we start to see the hand of God's blessings. We don't have to ask.

His blessings will be in our hands.
