Crawford International’s matric class of 2021 achieves excellent results

-

THE Crawford International School group is synonymous with academic excellence — and at no time is this more evident than at the release of the matric results each year. Once again, the matric class of 2021 did not disappoint.

Crawford’s matriculants celebrated their individual achievements with the release of the matric results on January 19, 2022.

Over the past two years, these students experienced many challenges, but together with their parents and school staff, they continued to persevere. All students within the group truly excelled in their final examinations — so much so that in total they achieved 1 574 distinctions across the Crawford International Schools brand, surpassing the 2020 performance.

Tatiana Nicolopoulos achieved 10 distinctions — the highest number of distinctions in the group achieved by an individual candidate.

Additionally, Crawford International had two sets of twins who collectively took home 32 distinctions.

Adding to these outstanding accolades, Crawford International also boasts six students who achieved nine distinctions, 26 students who achieved eight distinctions, and 38 students who achieved seven distinctions. The group also had four students who obtained a 100% pass for mathematics.

The Crawford International colleges in KwaZulu-Natal obtained four IEB Outstanding Achievement awards. This award is presented to students who ranked within the top 5% percent of all IEB students nationally in six or more subjects and obtained 80% or more for their subjects.

In addition, the colleges achieved six IEB Commendable Achievement awards. This award is presented to students who ranked in the top 5% of students nationally obtaining 80% or more.

Twenty-one students placed in the IEB top 1% for various subjects nationally.
