DIRECTOR Vignesh Shivan has offered Kollywood fans a gem of a movie that will leave them satiated.
How does a guy with many insecurities, justified or not, handle a dual love relationship?
Rambo, played by Vijay Sethupathi, is a taxi driver by day and a club bouncer at night. He meets Khatija (Samantha Ruth Prabhu) one evening in the club and falls in love with her.
He thereafter meets an innocent and charming Kanmani (Nayanthara) and falls in love with her too.
Shivan proves his mettle as an accomplished director with this complex love story. The viewer is immediately drawn to the characters.
The movie is light-hearted and believable. The music by Aniruth takes the movie to another level. He is getting to be the master of his trade.
The cinematography by Vijay Kartik Kannan and SR Kathir needs special mention as the camera angles, lighting and colour palettes are pleasing to the eye.
The supporting actors have played their roles with aplomb.
This is a light-hearted movie that is not to be missed. It will have you riveted for two-and-a-half hours.
