Raising the bar
EXCITEMENT is reaching a fever pitch as Pooja Entertainment’s latest offering, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, releases today (Wednesday) – as an Eid release – promising a blend of action and camaraderie.
Starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran, this larger-than-life spectacle is poised to set screens ablaze with its heart-racing thrills and laughter-inducing moments.
Producer Jackky Bhagnani and director Ali Abbas Zafar have joined forces to craft what looks to be a cinematic extravaganza, combining adrenaline-pumping action sequences with rib-tickling comedy.
Kumar reportedly said: “The combination of action and comedy, coupled with real stunts, makes this project close to my heart. In this film, I have tried to raise the bar, working with a wonderful team and performing real stunts is what I shall remember for a lifetime. We enjoyed working on the movie, and we hope audiences enjoy watching the real action entertainer.”
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan marks the dawn of a potential franchise.
Shroff, portraying Chote Miyan, said: “Yes, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is definitely intended as a franchise, and I think once you see the end-credit scenes you will see there is not only scope but also certainty of a sequel.”
However, the film won’t be the only spectacle gracing screens today. It’s set to lock horns with the Ajay Devgn-starrer, Maidaan, a period football drama. Both films promise to deliver riveting entertainment, leaving audiences spoilt for choice.
So, brace for a cinematic showdown as Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan battle it out for box office supremacy, each offering its unique brand of entertainment. Whether it’s high-octane action or gripping drama, this weekend at the movies guarantees something for everyone.
