Film on life after apartheid

Post - - COMMENT -

IN THE cold winter, it took so much courage to stand in front of the Chatsworth police station, especially at night, in support of 9-year-old Sadia Sukhraj and demonstrate anger over the lack of adequate policing to crack down on the escalating crime rate.

It’s such a proud moment, seeing so many people standing united in support of their demand for more visible policing, especially in Chatsworth.

Just out of curiosity, while film-maker Anant Singh made movies to show the rest of the world what we went through under apartheid and the NP government’s doings etc, why doesn’t he do the same with the ANC government?

Make a movie about life after apartheid.

After all, Singh has kids, too, as young as Sadia, whose life was ended so tragically. ZAHIR DANBAR Phoenix
