SUNSET United and Summerfield Dynamos will slug it out in the Premier Division final of the South African Football Association (Safa) Chatsworth’s finals scheduled for Chatsworth Stadium on October 27.

Sunset United are newcomers to the Premier League and have punched above their weight thus far and were able to beat Meadford Sporting 2-0 in their semi-final.

Dynamos thrashed Dimes United 8-0 in a onesided encounter.

Dynamos, a team loaded with players who have played in the SAB league, used their experience to breeze through.

Safa Chatsworth’s president, Nelson Kuppan, said: “All our players look forward to playing at this stadium as this is the only opportunity that they get to display their ability.

“We’re expecting a huge turnout on the day, which is likely to provide much excitement.”

Cup action was also on the go at Safa Phoenix’s venues. They staged their Round of 32 FA Cup fixtures at the Eastbury and Saccharine grounds last weekend.

Highlights included Touch 5 FC beating Faith FC 2-1, while Young Swans FC downed Spartans 2-0.

The ever-popular Phoenix Sporting got the better off Grace FC in a 3-1 result while Division 1 outfit Cambellstown United beat Premier League opponents Stonebridge Sporting 5-1.
