EFF’s attempted diversion

-

A “DEAD cat” is a nefarious strategy, commonly used by person/s under pressure for alleged wrongdoing, that involves turning the tables on the accuser/s by accusing them of something that diverts attention from the real issue.

The EFF’s Commander-in-Chief Julius Malema and his sidekick Floyd Shivambu stand accused of being part of the looting that collapsed VBS Mutual Bank, a black-owned financial services institution designed to cater for the needs of the rural poor.

The EFF is also facing many other problems and are unable to resolve them. Their marriage of convenience with the DA has broken down and they are unable to contain it.

The fallout between the DA and the EFF has now deepened further, when the DA laid criminal charges against Malema and his deputy, Shivambu, following allegations that the EFF was paid R1.8 million through corrupt means from the now defunct VBS Mutual Bank.

The attack on Pravin Gordhan by the EFF is a crude attempt to take away the spotlight from them and, in the main, to fool South Africans that the EFF is not on trial.
