From be­gin­ning a decade ago with three airbeds, Airbnb is a global suc­cess story, and now the com­pany plans to take the brand even fur­ther. Rolling out over the next 10 years, Airbnb has un­veiled its Roadmap for its core Homes busi­ness that is de­signed to bring the transformative ben­e­fits of lo­cal, per­sonal, and au­then­tic travel to ev­ery type of trav­eller. The Roadmap sets the com­pany on to achieve its goal of more than 1 bil­lion an­nual guests by 2028 and in­cludes the launch of new prop­erty types: Va­ca­tion Home, Unique, B&B, and Bou­tiques; new tiers: Airbnb Plus and Be­yond by Airbnb; Airbnb Col­lec­tions, which are homes per­fectly suited to ev­ery oc­ca­sion; and in­vest­ing back in its com­mu­nity with re­vamped Su­per­host and guest mem­ber­ship pro­grammes.
