DISCOVERY SPORT ENHANCED

-

The Land Rover Discovery Sport premium compact SUV has been enhanced with latest technologies, new levels of interior quality and increased space for families with a spirit of adventure. Its body structure is now 13% stiffer than its predecessor, with rigidly mounted subframes to reduce noise and vibration, improved comfort and more safety in the event of a collision. While trademark Discovery design cues remain, the proportions of the Sport have been optimised with new LED headlamps front and rear, alongside a new front grille and bumpers. Inside, a digital Touch Pro infotainment system with new interface and the latest connectivity, new seats across the three rows and more premium materials create a high-quality space. The second row now has a 40:20:40 split fold and slide functionality, boosting seat combinations to 24, and fuel tank capacity is up by 20% (to 65-litres). The new Disco Sport is available in Base and S trim levels or sportier R-dynamic variants in S, SE and HSE trim. Besides Allwheel Drive with Active Driveline system, Terrain Response 2 and Advanced Tow Assist, it is also available with a Clearsight rear view mirror that transforms into a video screen, wireless charging for compatible mobile devices and a 4G Wifi hotspot, alongside USB and 12-volt connectivity points. The Sport is available with the Ingenium 2.0 litre fourcylinder turbodiesel (badged D180 with 132kw) or petrol turbo engine (badged P250 with 184kw) with prices ranging from R749,500 for the D180 AWD Auto up to R908,100 (including VAT but excluding CO2 tax) for the P250 AWD R-dynamic HSE Auto.
