ABOUT MCLAREN AUTOMOTIVE
Mclaren Automotive is a manufacturer of luxury, highperformance supercars, with each vehicle hand-assembled at the state-of-the-art Mclaren Production Centre in Woking, England.
Launched in 2010, the company is currently the largest division in the Mclaren Group. The product portfolio of the company comprises GT, Supercar, Motorsport, and Ultimate models that are retailed through over 85 retailers in 40 markets globally.
Mclaren is a pioneer that continuously pushes the boundaries, starting with the Mclaren MP4/1 that first introduced lightweight and strong carbon fibre chassis to Formula 1 in 1981. In 1993, Mclaren designed and built the Mclaren F1 road car with its distinctive carbon fibre chassis. Since then the company has not built a car that does not include a carbon fibre chassis. As part of the Ultimate Series, Mclaren was the first to deliver a hybrid hypercar, the Mclaren P1. In 2016, it announced that a new hybrid hyper-gt would be engineered, confirming this next Ultimate Series car as the Speedtail in 2018.
Then, in 2019 they hailed the launch of the
Mclaren 600LT Spider, the new GT, and the trackonly Mclaren Senna GTR. The 620R and Mclaren Elva were also unveiled prior to the launch of the 765LT the following year.
Most recently, the company unveiled its all-new highperformance hybrid supercar, the Mclaren Artura. The Artura is the first Mclaren to benefit from the Mclaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture (MCLA). Using a world-first process that will spearhead the electrified future of the brand, MCLA is designed, developed, and manufactured at the Mclaren Composites Technology Centre in Sheffield, England.
Mclaren Automotive also partners with like-minded world-leading companies and organisations that push the boundaries in their respective fields. These include Akzonobel, Ashurst, Dell Technologies, Gulf, Pirelli, Richard Mille, and Tumi.
