The child star stopped mak­ing head­lines for her act­ing abil­i­ties and start­ing mak­ing them for her drug habits and run ins with the law. How­ever, she even­tu­ally stopped drugs and was even of­fered help by Oprah Win­frey.


Jack Os­bourne’s ad­dic­tion started with al­co­hol at 13. He was tak­ing a rolodex of pre­scrip­tion pills in­clud­ing, OxyCon­tin, Xanas, Val­ium, Lorcet, Lotab, Per­co­cet and Lorcet. In 2003, Os­bourne checked into re­hab and has been sober for 10 years.


Robert Downey Jr’s ad­dic­tion to co­caine and hero­ine nearly cost him his ca­reer af­ter the ac­tor’s mul­ti­ple ar­rests landed him on Hol­ly­wood’s black list. In 2001 he was fired from Ally McBeal. To­day Robert Downey Jr tops Forbes’s list of Hol­ly­wood’s high­est paid ac­tors.


In 2012, Demi Lo­vato re­vealed that she went to re­hab in 2010 to cope with bipo­lar dis­or­der, bu­limia and a coke ad­dic­tion she had kept un­der wraps. Af­ter kick­ing the habit, Lo­vato was an X Fac­tor judge, and now speaks out against drug abuse.
