Among the stories to make this year’s selection are the talks between South Korean President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, the immigrant issue at the Us-mexican border, the refugee crisis, clashes between Israel and Palestine, terror attacks and natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods.
People in the news included US President Donald Trump, Britain’s Theresa May and Germany’s Angela Merkel, and Pope Francis.
Northern lights, buildings covered in ice, animal pictures, sport and images reflecting the human spirit all feature in the line-up. For more go to www.reuters. com
