Pretoria News - - MERTO -

FILM industry creatives, movie enthusiasts, celebrities and media personalities were treated to a night under the stars.

Glitz and glam was the order of the evening at the opening of the Joburg Film Festival, which took place at the Nelson Mandela Square on Tuesday night.

The stars came out on the purple carpet in their best attire. International artist and face of the festival Nomzamo Mbatha got her break through Mzansi Magic.

The Festival, in its third year, was born to create an independent platform that not only tells Africa’s stories, but showcases and rewards the continent’s and international excellence in film. It runs until November 24. The sponsors are the Department of Arts and Culture, Kaya FM, Independent Media and Sandton City. | African News Agency (ANA)
