Lean Institute Africa introduced the Lean Management Development Programme (LMDP) in 2017. Delivered over six months, the programme will provide a comprehensive, experiential education in Lean Management.

Lean Management systems, which are integrated across the organisation.

Learn how to apply advanced skills in Process Analysis, Lean Management Tools & Practices, change management and effective problem-solving.

The programme was fully subscribed in both Cape Town and Johannesburg in 2017. With the lessons from the first programme, we will be offering an even stronger programme in 2018.

The programme, offered in Cape Town and Johannesburg, includes:

12 non-consecutive days of classroom training, which are structured in 2–3 day blocks, based on experiential learning.

Scheduled coaching by an experienced Lean facilitator through the duration of the course.

Completing a business-related improvement project supported by an experienced coach between classroom contact sessions.

Theory exam and A3 project presentation to a panel of Master Lean facilitators.

We will look at the qualitative practices and skills required for a management system and how to effectively implement it within your organisation.
