ARTS IN GRAHAMSTOWN
Every year the National Arts Festival takes over Grahamstown and the town comes alive with music, theatre, dance and performance. From 28 June to 8 July, art-lovers, cinema buffs, dance fans and theatre groupies will be able to fully immerse themselves in the very best of South African artistic culture. Every gallery will be filled with local artists, every stage will feature local performers and every microphone will broadcast local voices –- all of which will be doing so to show the public the talent that our nation holds. Some of our picks – Udodana (dance), Madala Kunene: King of Zulu Blues (music), Amanda Black (music) and Doghouse (creative). For more info and a full festival programme, visit
