QUANTUM UPGRADED

-

In response to the prevailing Covid19 operating conditions, the most popular people mover in South Africa has received an upgrade to support the local taxi industry and to ensure the safety of both drivers and commuters. An upgraded driver guard has been added to the Ses’fikile minibus taxi.

At the same time Toyota South Africa has added comfort and convenience features along with exterior upgrades on selected models in the Quantum range. The GL bus is now available with 16inch alloy wheels shod with 235/65R16 tyres (replacing the previously used steel versions), and this also standardizes the wheel size between the eleven- and 14seater models.

A new upgraded rear-view mirror incorporates an auto-dimming function (electro chromatic), as well as reverse camera display. The Panel Van and Crew Cab derivatives also benefit from the auto-dimming rear-view-mirror and reverse camera upgrade.

Toyota South Africa have reduced the number of derivatives within the Panel Van and Crew Cab ranges with the non-air-conditioned models been discontinued while the Crew Cab line-up has been simplified by deleting the rear airconditioned version from the line-up.

The model line-up and pricing now consist of the Quantum 2.8 LWB Panel Van threeseater (R535 700), the 2.8 SLWB

Panel Van threeseater (R574 600), the

2.8 LWB Crew Cab sixseater (R545 300), the 2.8 LWB GL Bus 11seater (R669 800), the 2.8 SLWB GL Bus 14seater (R684 900), and the Quantum 2.8 LWB VX Bus nineseater (R985 600). All models are sold with a nineservices/90 000 km service plan and threeyear/100 000 km warranty. Service intervals are set as 12months/10 000 km.
