BOLD NEW CROSSLAND

-

Opel South Africa, now a subsidiary of Stellantis, has introduced the new facelifted Crossland SUV, now sporting a bold new look and front-end design called Opel Vizor. This styling element is closely linked to past iconic Opel models, yet is not just a design statement; it also makes Opel models ‘future-ready’ by providing space for sensors and cameras.

The makeover also incorporates new dark tinted taillights at the rear and a new high-gloss black tailgate surface (available in combination with the black roof). Also new are the front and rear skid plates, LED fog lamps (on the Elegance model), and 16inch alloy wheels.

Safety features include Forward Collision Alert with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, Lane Departure Warning, Driver Drowsiness Alert, Front and Rear Park Assist, Cruise control with speed limiter and sign recognition, ABS, EBFD, and Hill Start Assist.

Inside, the Crossland has an updated seveninch colour touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility. Soft touch materials with chrome and gloss black finishes give the interior a more premium feel. It also offers outstanding functionality with class-leading boot space of 520 l that can be increased to 1 255 l.

The Crossland Edition model is powered by a 1.2litre engine delivering 60 kw and is coupled to a fivespeed manual gearbox. The more powerful 1.2litre turbo petrol engine (81 kw) coupled to a sixspeed auto gearbox is offered on both the Edition and Elegance models. The facelifted Crossland models are now available at dealerships and are priced from R324 900 to R399 900.
