Build the Ultimate Marathon Go-Bag

AFTER MONTHS OF TRAINING, THE LAST THING YOU NEED IS SOMETHING GOING WRONG ON THE DAY. HERE’S YOUR STRESS-BUSTING CHECKLIST.

Runner's World South Africa - - KNOWLEDGE - BY JEFF DENGATE

MURPHY’S LAW DICTATES things will go wrong on marathon day – especially if you’re travelling. So you have to be prepared for anything to happen. After all, you’ve put in the work, and you don’t want the universe to ruin it. RW Runner-in-Chief (and 28-time marathoner) Jeff Dengate has curated the essential items you’ll need to get through the expected (hunger pangs on the plane) and unexpected (the construction site next to your hotel). Stuff these (or similar) in your hand luggage to make sure you get to the start feeling ready. The rest is up to you.
