Arise from your debt bed
If you stumbled into the new year nursing a financial “hangover” brought on by excessive spending over the festive season, help is at hand: you can recover and rise from your debt bed.
At this month’s meeting of the acsis/personal Finance Financial Planning Club, Paul Leonard will help you to get a handle on how to manage your debt and finances wisely so that you can eliminate debt. Leonard’s presentation will focus on:
The best ways to reduce debt and save;
Helping you to determine where your money goes and how to develop a spending plan;
Debt management tools, including debt consolidation;
Practical advice on developing and setting up an “emergency fund”;
Good credit versus bad credit; and
Differentiating between what you own and what you owe.
Leonard has a Certified Financial Planner accreditation and is a five-time finalist in the Financial Planner of the Year competition. Leonard is an executive director of Consolidated Financial Planning.
The presentation will take place at the Wanderers Club, 21 North Street, Illovo, on Tuesday, February 28, at 5.30pm for 6pm.
