GAUTENG: Fine and warm becoming partly cloudy. MPUMALANGA: Cloudy in the east with morning fog patches over high grounds, partly cloudy and cool but warm in the north-east, becoming fine later. LIMPOPO: Cloudy in the east with morning fog patches and drizzle over high ground, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but cool in the central parts and the eastern high grounds, becoming fine later. NORTH-WEST: Fine, windy and warm but partly cloudy in the east at first.

FREE STATE: Fine, windy and warm but partly cloudy at first in the extreme east and northeast with isolated showers.

NORTHERN CAPE: Cool in the east, otherwise partly cloudy and cold but cloudy in the west with drizzle patches along the escarpment. Rain is expected in the southwest by evening spreading eastwards overnight associated with snowfalls on the southern high ground.

WESTERN CAPE: Partly cloudy and cool but cloudy and cold in the west with widespread rain mainly from late afternoon spreading eastwards overnight associated with snowfalls on high ground. EASTERN CAPE: Fine, windy and warm but partly cloudy and cool along the south coast. Wind light to moderate north-westerly, becoming fresh to strong south-westerly. Fine, windy and warm but cloudy and cool with isolated showers on the southern Drakensberg.

KWAZULU-NATAL: Partly cloudy with morning fog over the interior, otherwise fine and warm. Wind along the coast moderate to fresh north-easterly.
