CYCLE FOR A DREAM

-

THE Telkom 947 Cycle Challenge and our Dream Rider team prove that “Not all heroes wear capes… Some ride bikes.”

This year, The Reach For A Dream Foundation celebrates 30 years of making dreams come true for children fighting a life-threatening illness, inspiring hope in those most in need. Reach For A Dream reaches approximately 30 000 children per year.

One of the biggest fundraisers is the Telkom 94.7 Cycle Challenge. This year is the 12th year that the Dream Riders will race. The goal is to have 600 riders and raise R1.5million to fulfil the dreams of children suffering from life-threatening illnesses across the country.

To join the Dream Riders: your R1 800 gets you Dream Rider registration, charity start time, branded team kit, goody bag and full hospitality after the race. All proceeds go towards dream fulfilment.

Sign up on the Cycle Challenge site as well as www.dreamriders.co.za For more information, contact Janine at Reach For A Dream 011 880 1740 or dreamriders@reachforadream.org.za Optimism is the belief that things are going to get better. Hope is the belief that we can make things better.

In the face of suffering, it takes courage to hope. When the chips are down, and when we need a powerful shot of motivation to help us find new ways to reach our goal and push us forward, there is no substitute for hope.
