WHAT’S ON JOBURG

-

LOUNGING WITH POLO AND VODKA

THE Vive le Polo by Allure Private Lounge and Grey Goose at the Nedbank International Polo Cup 2018 will welcome guests in Joburg today.

South Africa will be taking on Australia, and guests will be hoping for a game of high intensity, strategy and sportsmanship, and a great time.

Allure Private Lounge presents an opportunity to revel in luxury and enjoy a unique offering; the first of its kind, and the first time on African soil.

Vive le Polo is a concept born from a partnership between the lounge partner and Grey Goose Luxury Vodka.

Chief executive of The Communications Firm, Bonnke Shipalana, said: “Allure Private Lounge prides itself on understanding and exceeding our clients’ expectations when it comes to experiential lifestyle events. In the next few years, Allure will be branching out beyond polo and will be establishing Allure-owned lifestyle properties.”

It had been an exciting journey to experience not only the hike in the popularity of the sport but to grow with it, he said. “It is our belief as The Communication Firm that this is a sport and event that ought to expand to be experienced in more regions. We look forward to more fixtures in more cities.

“The opportunity to carry on delivering flair and a luxurious component in one is an exciting challenge for us.”

Fashion will be at the forefront this season and guests will be dressed according to the theme of “Be Royal in Blue and White” to win the best-dressed prize for the day. The soundtrack will be provided by a world-class entertainment line-up, including DJ PH and Lerato Kganyago, who will carry the crowd until the night-time showcase.
