The Strongbow Big Picnic will take place in Newtown today where Tresor, Kid Fonque and Samthing Soweto are to take to the stage. The event is a collaboration between MTV and Strongbow Apple Ciders and is in association with local radio station 947. “The Strongbow Big Picnic aims to redefine the city’s music experience while enjoying the natural gems that the city offers,” said Heineken South Africa marketing manager Lance Dodgen.
