We kick off with Kim Engelbrecht, an actress best known for her roles as Lolly de Klerk in Isidingo, Sergeant Noma Banks on the sci-fi TV show Dominion, and Marlize Devoe in The Flash.
SS: On a scale of 1-10, how excited are you about life right now?
Kim: 12.

If you could do a love scene with anyone, who would it be?
Love scenes are not real... you know that right. Lol.
If your life were a song, what would the title be?
Baz Luhrmann’s Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen) song.
Owl city, firefly… I wouldn’t mind living in that kind of fantasy world. My go-to-bed ritual also.
What’s one thing people don’t know about you?
I used to manage a band… bands.
What’s your wake-up ritual?
Put on my Apple Watch, start my step count. Watch CNN while I have high-fibre bran then I go to gym or have an accent class.
What’s your go-to-bed ritual?
I am usually reading scripts or learning lines late at night. I find I memorise lines better at night, with tea of some variety or Netflix documentaries.
What would you want people to write in your obituary and why?
Morbid? She was fiercely fun and funny! Good friend, a loyal sister and daughter and she listened to you like every word mattered. She lived her dreams and gave great hugs.
Everything I have is my favourite. Umm, my beanie, peak caps and my little Gucci shoes.
Favourite piece of clothing you own?
You are stuck on an island, you can pick one food to eat forever without getting tired of it, what would you eat?
No Lie. Crunchy broccoli but made like I like it, with garlic, olive oil, lemon salt and pepper… ramen (dish).
