IL DIVO

INTERNATIONAL classical sensation Il Divo will perform in South Africa this weekend as part of their worldwide tour. The tour forms part of the group’s 15th anniversary celebrations. The group consists of a male quartet, Urs Bühler, Carlos Marín, David Miller and Sébastien Izambard. It has already sold more than 30 million albums and received 160 Gold and Platinum awards in 33 countries.

JOBURG FILM FESTIVAL

FOLLOWING a resounding success of the first Joburg

Film Festival, a second year has been added with a full schedule of films.

There will be a large variety of films including those from South Africa, Africa and international films. There will also be dialogues with key industry leaders and stakeholders. Films included are Dying for Gold, Matwetwe, Funan, Frutitoons, Everything Must Fall and M. The film festival will take place at The Zone in Rosebank until tomorrow.

YOGA AND PICNIC

FOCUS on your health and get away from the busy city this weekend by participating in a yoga session followed by a picnic which will take place in Johannesburg today. The session, which starts at 8.30am, will take place at the organic farm of Leafy Greens in Muldersdrift. Steven from Yoga Works will be the guide during the 75-minute yoga session suitable for all levels. Those who attend can enjoy a selection of healthy, organic, vegan foods prepared by the team from Leafy Greens.
