A-league swimmimg champs again
OVER the last couple of weeks Northcliff High’s swimming teams proved their mettle once again in the swimming pool.
On Thursday 28 February they swam in the A-league Inter-high gala at Delville pool in Germiston. An Eighteens victory in the 50 odd year history of this prestigious swimming inter-high between Co-ed schools followed. The victory by 146 points is probably the largest ever. A total of 22 first positions (out of the 56 events ), 19 second and third positions respectively including an new record to top it all off, showed the dominance on the day. The U15 mixed medley relay swam a new record time at the gala.

1st Northcliff A – 848 winning with 146 points.
The stage for the A-team win was set by their B-swimming team: Competing against other schools’ A-teams, the B-swimming team walked away with a convincing victory on 26 February in the Division 1 E-league. Scores:

1st Nothcliff B – 745 winning with 42 points
On Friday 1st March Northcliff C-swimming team swam in the Division 2 B-league gala. Following the success of the A and B teams respectively they showed tremendous guts and determination and ended up coming second amongst a whole host of A-teams.

1st Bishop Baven A: 390 EDENVALE High School is proud to have teachers who are acknowledged as number one in the district.
