Ditch deadly coal for free solar energy

Have your say: Email your letter to saturdayletters@inl.co.za NO! NO! Not another coal mine! We have destroyed our lives enough with this coal. Yes, a few might have made cash but many have been killed and will continue to be killed by products of coal mining – dust and gas.

We have lost more than we gained from coal mining. Please will the proposers of a new coal mine consider using the sun? If they look up above, they will see a powerful source that is free and safe. Do let us wake up. ROSE TUELO LETEANE
