Saints focus on ball skills
THE Saints Junior Prep learners have been participating in their Winter Sports programme.
“Our St Stithians College winter sports programme comes to an end for our junior prep students.
“The focus is always on the fundamental ball skills needed in various sports. However, our boys and girls just thrive under the guidance of our experienced coaches when transferring these ball skills into actual game play.
“They have enjoyed tag rugby, soccer, hockey and netball in the compulsory sports programme.
“Key to our programme is that every child plays,” says the head of sports for the Junior Prep, Christine de la Harpe.
