YOGA IN THE PARK

UNWIND at Yoga in the Park this weekend.

The event is at Lakes Park in Roodepoort today and is hosted by the Little Falls & Strubens Valley Residential Community (Lifco).

The strong and slow yoga session is perfect for toning, strengthening and stretching all your muscles.

It also challenges your mind, body and soul and enhances relaxation, rejuvenation and inner balance.

People interested inattending should bring their own yoga mats as well as a sweat towel and water. The entry fee is R100.

A cookie-decorating class will be held this weekend, before the most romantic day of the year on February 14, at the Sugarbear Bakery in Bedfordview.

Expert bakers will teach you how to flood, pipe, mix colours and decorate baked goods.

The baked and decorated cookies can be taken home with you, for you to give to your loved ones.

JEPPE MARATHON 2020

EXPLORE the city and work on your fitness at the latest instalment of the

Jeppe Marathon.

The event, formerly known as the Pick n Pay Marathon, is tomorrow morning. It starts from Saheti School in Senderwood.

The Jeppe Marathon is a Comrades Marathon and Two Oceans Marathon qualifier and offers 42.2km, 21.km, 8km and 4km routes. This year, the Jeppe Marathon will be used to determine the CGA Marathon Champs for 2020, to be considered for selection to represent CGA at the SA Champs.

Entry costs R80 to R280.
