All meals are cooked from scratch and they use their own organic vegetable garden, own chickens for eggs, own cows for milk and bake their own bread and they even make their own cheese.
Antbear Lodge also offers horse trails ideally suited to beginners and hot air balloon flights that launch from the lawn in front of the lodge.
As a community partnership Antbear Lodge offers access to a stargazing hammock camp where a local villager tell his Zulu stories of the stars.
