A LION statue built from lego bricks was unveiled at the Pest bridgehead of the landmark Chain Bridge that spans the Danube river in Budapest, Hungary. The lego lion statue, which weighs around 3 tons, was completed in 28 days from 850 000 elements in a joint project of A-hid, the Budapest Brand Office and the Lego Company. The original stone lion was removed for renovation earlier, as part of the works related to the renewal of the Chain Bridge.
