THIS week we feature award-winning radio and TV presenter Zanele Potelwa.

Zanele is one of the youngest in the commercial radio and TV space, creating waves on 5FM as a radio presenter and on SABC 1 as a TV presenter.

After having worked as The Drive Time show host at Tuksfm in 2018, Zanele joined 947 as part of the 947 crew and as an on-air presenter on their overnight show on weekends.

During the week, Zanele and her fellow crew members were correspondents and the “on the ground” crew for 947 for all the cool things happening around Joburg.

Zanele then joined the national radio station 5FM, 1-4am Monday to Friday. From there, she moved to join the Roger Goode Show as traffic presenter and after just one year, was given her very own weekday lunchtime show. She quickly won the Bright Stars Award at the Liberty Radio Awards 2019.

In 2017, Zanele entered the Mzansi Insider TV Presenter Search where she was awarded runner-up. Soon afterwards, she became a guest presenter on Selimathunzi, the celebrity entertainment show on SABC 1.

She also worked at the Global Citizen Festival Mandela 100 Event that took place at FNB Stadium in 2018,
