GAUTENG: Cloudy and mild with isolated showers and thundershowers.

MPUMALANGA: Partly cloudy and cool but cloudy and cold in the east with isolated to scattered showers and rain.

LIMPOPO: Fine and cool in the central parts at first, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon but cloudy and cold in the east where isolated to scattered showers and rain are expected.

NORTH WEST: Fine and cool to warm, but partly cloudy in the east with isolated showers in the extreme south-east.

FREE STATE: Fine in the extreme west, otherwise partly cloudy with isolated showers and cool to cold but scattered in the east. Very cold in the extreme east with light snowfalls. NORTHERN CAPE: Very cold in places in the extreme south, otherwise fine and cool to cold but warm along the west coast and adjacent interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to south-easterly.

WESTERN CAPE: Warm along the west coast and adjacent interior, otherwise fine and cool with morning fog patches in the north-eastern interior. EASTERN CAPE: Fine and cold. Cloudy and cold along the coast and adjacent interior, with morning rain in the east. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north easterly. KWAZULU-NATAL: Cloudy and cold but very cold in the west. Isolated showers expected but scattered along the coast and north east. Wind moderate southerly becoming north-easterly.
