The Tented suites at Jaci’s safari lodge are the perfect compromise for couples who are all too familiar with the struggle to decide between a weekend of “roughing it” in the wild versus a luxury getaway. located in South Africa’s magnificent Madikwe Game Reserve, Jaci’s safari lodge is a blissful escape into the African wilderness.

The two exclusive starbed suites of Jaci’s safari lodge have rooftop extensions, affording guests the opportunity to sleep under the African stars.

There are six tented-style suites on the reserve, each with its own Bushveld charm. From thatched roofs and roll-up canvas sides, to stone-clad walls, outdoor showers, and rustic wooden furniture, these luxurious tents provide an authentic outdoor experience.

For the creature-comfort-loving traveller, all of the Jaci’s safari lodge suites include heaters and air-conditioning, king-sized beds, and twin basins in the well-appointed bathrooms. These suites are where indulgence and natural beauty meet. The spot which best exemplifies this is the suite’s own suspended balcony overlooking the expanse of veld below. Here, you can watch as the animals bask in the sunshine just outside your tent.

There are loads of ways to spend your day apart from lounging in the comfort of your tented suite. Game drives, walking safaris, and conservation safaris are available for all guests staying at the Madikwe Game Reserve. For photographers, the Terrapin Hide (a submerged, water-level aquatic hide) is the perfect spot in which to capture on film a thirsty elephant coming for a sip of water, or a giant kingfisher diving after a fish.

The communal areas of Jaci’s safari lodge are great spaces in which to while away your free time in-between all of your activities. work on your tan next to the pool, relax in the colourful lounge and bar area, or simply take in the views from the outdoor deck. Thanks to its yellow sofas, hot pink walls, and bright blue ottomans, any time spent in this lodge will brighten your day and instantly leave you in a happy mood.
