Miniso in Pretoria

Taking pride in adding splashes of colour to people’s lives with its ranges of toys, stationery, kitchenware, décor, and gadgets, Miniso – co-founded in 2011 by Japanese designer Junya Miyake and Chinese entrepreneur Ye Guofu – has added some extra colour to Menlyn Park in Pretoria with the opening of a new store earlier this year. All products and raw materials have undergone rigorous tests to ensure quality. Miniso has also brought together a number of designers from Japan and Europe, including a team that has won the “German Red Dot Design Award”, to produce products that meet the demands and aesthetic values of discerning South African consumers.
