After reviewing 16 of Johannesburg and Cape Town’s finest bars in search of the best Old Fashioned, the results are in, with Sin & Tax coming out on top in Johannesburg and The Twankey Bar winning in Cape Town. AJ Snetler from Twankey Bar made his Old Fashioned distinct by serving the drink without ice, changing the glassware to create the illusion of temperature, and finally pairing it with delicious dark and white chocolate truffles.
