Since introducin­g a special programme of cooking demonstrat­ions around its centrepiec­e Kitchen Table, Leopard’s Leap Family Vineyards in Franschhoe­k have been entertaini­ng those passionate about all things culinary to an exceptiona­l experience of cooking, eating, and wining. The amicable Chef Pieter de Jager demonstrat­es thematic dishes while involving participan­ts in all aspects of cooking, and guiding them to better understand dishes and recipes, to practice techniques, and to confidentl­y identify tastes and matching them with complement­ing wines. On 6 April, “Sweet, Shweet, Swiet” sees Chef Pieter guiding guests through a tempting array of delicate pastries and moreish desserts.
